Biography

Alyson Jantzen earned her M.A. in Education from URI. She has been teaching at Westerly High School since 2011. She taught a wide range of math courses including Algebra I/II, geometry, precalculus, college math, and statistics. Ms. Jantzen has done practicum research work including working on failure/drop out rates and bridging the gap between high school and college math. This fall, Ms. Jantzen will be teaching MTH 209 Numeracy for Teachers II and MTH 103 Applied Precalculus.
